Lucy Woodley

Lucy joined the VWA team in September 2024 and is one of our Consultants on the Temporary & Contract Division.

Lucy’s responsibilities range from resourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, managing existing relationships with clients and candidates whilst contributing to resourcing new business, and admin support with advert writing, background checks, and CV formatting.

Lucy comes from a fashion background, previously working in fashion sales and buying where she worked in both wholesale for a luxury womenswear brand as well as buying within luxury personal shopping. Lucy moved to London after graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in International Business.

“I truly love building relationships with both candidates and clients, and seeing the hiring process end to end from both perspectives. Having the opportunity to discuss opportunities that a candidate may not be aware of otherwise feels very rewarding! The whole team is so supportive and collaborative, which is especially important on the temporary side with there being an added element of time sensitivity.”

Outside of work, Lucy loves to stay active by running and cycling. She also has a special talent for making crochet bags!
