The client:

A leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets. The firm invests in defensive, hard-asset businesses globally to create value for its investors and portfolio companies. It also operates with the aim to have a positive impact within the communities within which it operates.

The role:

Team Assist duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sitting on reception and managing FOH duties, this will include:
    • Meeting & greeting guests in a professional manner
    • Ensuring the reception is smart and well maintained
    • Answering and fielding calls
    • Setting up meeting rooms and equipment for meetings and Teams/Zooms
  • Responsible for the weekly Ocado order and ensuring snacks/food is stocked
  • Ordering and maintaining office stationary
  • Assisting with any queries of office equipment
  • Providing EA support to a team. This will involve:
    • Processing expenses using Concur
    • Diary management
    • Booking travel
    • Ad hoc administration
  • Additional office support

The successful Team Assistant will:

  • Be available to start on the 23rd May, if not earlier
  • Have previous EA and FOH experience within a financial services firm and therefore be ready to hit the ground running
  • Previous Concur experience
  • Be extremely proactive and able to use their initiative to ensure the most efficient running of the business
  • Be professional and personable
  • Must be happy sat on a reception desk and working independently and as part of a team
  • Have a 'muck in'/'no task too big or too small' attitude and happy to assist with any task
  • Be able to manage many different tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining efficiently

  • Standard hours are 9am - 6pm
  • Fully office based
  • Temp-to-perm or permanent for the right candidate
  • Up to £23 an hour (depending on experience), plus holiday pay
