PA to Headteacher and Administration Manager
Hampstead / Kilburn

About the Client:
We are working with a lovely independent school in the Hampstead / Kilburn area. The school has a small but close-knit team of administrative staff and is a friendly environment!

About the Role:
This is a fantastic and varied opportunity which will involve providing PA support to the Headteacher, managing the administrative team and involvement in a wide variety of other areas in the business! Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • PA duties to the Headteacher - diary management, arranging travel and communication on her behalf
  • Management of admin team - delegating work, organising any training etc.
  • Event coordination (alongside the Office Secretary)
  • HR and Recruitment - liaising with agencies and coordinating all school recruitment, and working closely with HR Officer on HR administration and duties
  • Project management - working with Headteacher and wider leadership team on a range of projects
  • Collating reports and general administration.

Candidate Specification:

  • Administrative experience in an office environment (at least 1-2 years)
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent teamwork skills and muck-in attitude
  • Please note that experience within education, or previous expeirence of people management, is not essential for this role.

Additional Information:

  • Salary is up to £32K depending on experience and the role comes with excellent additional benefits including pension, free lunches and 8 weeks (40 days) holiday during school holidays.
  • Hours are 8am - 5pm and the role is fully office-based at the school, which is close to good transport links.
