The Client:
VWA is working with a London-based boutique Executive Search firm in their search for a Junior Researcher to join the team. The firm partners with pre-eminent Private Equity and Investment Banking firms, giving the team incredible opportunities to network with future leaders in the industry. This is a perfect role for someone with some office-based experience to kickstart their career in Executive Search/Headhunting.
The Researcher role:
Due to a growing number of clients and searches, the firm are looking for a Junior Researcher to support the wider team. Duties will involve but are not limited to:
- Reaching out and contacting candidates on the database and external sources such as LinkedIn to discuss potential opportunities
- Supporting the team on existing and upcoming mandates, including preparing of shortlists
- Scheduling of meetings and interviews
- Keeping databases updated with candidate/client activity
- Market mapping
- Producing reports on market relevant topics
- General administration
The successful Researcher will:
- Have prior office or customer service experience (required)
- Demonstrate an excellent academic record including degree education (or equivalent)
- Display excellence in extra curricular activities - such as sports, music or creative endeavours
- Demonstrate curiosity and tenacity
- Be highly service-oriented and people-centric
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have a team-orientated approach
- Be highly organised with a strong attention to detail
Additional Details:
- Competitive salary + commission structure
- Standard hours: 9.30am - 6.00pm
- Hybrid working - 1 day WFH
