Victoria Wall Associates are working on a great Reception/ Business Administrator role for a hugely successful hedge fund. The London office has about 180 people and has a buzzy, high achieving feel about it. The reception position involves working closely with 2 other receptionists and will rotate between the floors.

Responsibilities for this Reception/ Business Administration role incudes (but is not limited to):

  • Answering the telephones and transferring calls or taking messages.
  • Meeting and greeting guests, preparing and serving drinks, clearing meeting rooms.
  • Supporting candidate interviews and testing.
  • Ensuring that no one enters the firm without having identified themselves and signed in.
  • Office diary management to include booking meeting rooms for staff, scheduling annual leave in Outlook and adding events to the office calendar
  • Liaising with contractors and external suppliers (e.g. cleaners, electricians, flower companies), putting correct legal documentation in place for contractors.
  • Event organising.
  • Assisting on ad hoc project work for various teams.
  • Managing office expenses, invoices and petty cash.
  • Daily interaction with security guards regarding food orders, cleaners, suppliers, deliveries, security procedures etc.
  • Other Ad-hoc administrative duties.

The role would suit an individual with a hardworking, can do attitude. A candidate must have a minimum of a 2:1 from an established university and have prior reception experience.

The salary for this role is c£30K and comes with some great benefits. The hours operate on a rolling shift system. The shifts are 7am-5pm, 8.30am-6.30pm and 9.30am-7.30pm.
