12 Month+ Fixed-Term Contract - June / July / August 2023 until September 2024


City of London - Bank

Hybrid Working - 1-2 days from home

The Client:

A commodities trading firm with a fantastic company culture and stunning offices in the heart of the City!

The Role:

This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, due to start in September 2023 but with a start date in the summer (open to negotiation) to allow for a full handover. The role will involve supporting a small team up to Senior Managing Director level, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Diary management
  • International travel arrangements - predominantly between Europe, the UK and USA
  • Processing weekly expenses using Concur
  • Arranging meetings, both in-person and virtual
  • Working closely with wider admin team to help cover arranging weekly office lunches, office socials and covering reception as and when needed
  • Ad-hoc administrative and team support

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous experience of Assistant experience, ideally within a boutique finance / trading environment
  • Can-do, muck-in attitude and highly team-oriented
  • Self-starting and capable of working independently

Additional Information:

  • Salary is circa £45-50K depending on experience and role comes with good additional benefits including free breakfast and lunch once a week , all-expenses paid quarterly event days and a discretionary bonus
  • Hours are 8am - 6pm, which are flexible during quieter periods
  • Hybrid working of 1-2 days per week
  • Stunning offices based minutes from Bank tube station
  • Start date open to negotiation in Summer 2023 - end date September 2024
