Our client:

A leading boutique, headhunting and advisory firm with a friendly, hardworking, and ambitious team is seeking to hire some additional team members! They have grown fast over the last couple of years and the Research Team is a growing quickly as a result.

The Researcher Role:

This role will give you exposure to some of the most recognisable businesses in the world. You will speak and advise some of the brightest and most interesting professionals on a daily basis. Your core responsibilities will be ensuring complete oversight of the company's candidate market and keeping on top of who the best candidates are within that sector. You will:

  • Develop an understanding of what makes an appropriate candidate
  • Develop an understanding of the asset classes they cover, and the clients they work with, within them
  • Learn to assess candidate CVs for their relevance and suitability
  • Learn to screen candidates over the phone
  • Attend candidate interviews with a consultant
  • Learn how to build relationships with candidates in order to maintain maps, get referrals, compensation data and/or any other relevant candidate market data
  • Use & maintain the CRM
  • Develop search execution skills; learn to build long-lists, gain exposure to clearing & persuasion, shortlists, prep, feedback, scheduling and offer management

Skills needed:

  • Hold strong university academics
  • Organisational and communication skills; must be able to multi-task and pre-empt issues to successfully manage candidate and consultant expectations
  • Time management; must be capable of setting priorities and working under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proactivity
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail ensuring all work produced is client-ready (i.e. updated, accurate and always ready to send out if required)
  • Must be comfortable speaking to both new and existing candidates over the phone
  • Must demonstrate curiosity

The Details and Benefits:

  • Standard hours - 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
  • Salary: Up to 32K, dependent on experience, + benefits
