The Client:
VWA have taken on an exciting opportunity with a leading boutique, global investment firm based in the heart of London. The client is looking for a motivated self-starter to join the team as a Receptionist.
The Receptionist role:
Ideal for someone looking for an entry-level role and wanting to begin their career in a commercial environment, this Receptionist role will be reporting to and assisting the front of house manager on their busy reception desk.
Responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
- Greeting and setting the tone for all visitors in a professional manner
- Answering the switchboard promptly and gatekeeping calls
- Making and serving refreshments to visitors in meeting rooms
- Ensuring meeting rooms, kitchens and office spaces are kept tidy and fully stocked
- Setting up Teams and Zoom conference meetings using meeting room laptops
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and office orders
- Ad-hoc assistance to the Office Manager and HR e.g., arranging interviews, giving tours of the office to new joiners
The successful Receptionist candidate will:
Essential:
- Be flexible with a "muck-in" attitude
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise efficiently
- Be polished and dependable
- Have intermediate MS Office Suite skills
