Team Assistant with Fluent French

The Client:

VWA is supporting one of the largest global investment firms in private equity with their search for a new part-time Team Assistant with fluency in French.

The Team Assistant Role:

Sitting within the investment team, the successful candidate will be working on a part-time basis (3 consecutive days a week) alongside the current Assistant who is transitioning to 2 days a week. Supporting 3 Investment Partners, the Head of ESG (Partner) and a Senior Associate, this is a fantastic opportunity to become an integrated member of a fast-moving team. Day to day responsibilities involve but are not limited to:

  • Anticipating the needs of the Partners and team to ensure efficient management of their time
  • Booking and managing complex international travel arrangements with efficiency, flexibility and anticipation
  • Diary management, including liaising with investors and third parties to arrange meetings
  • Conducting background research on investors/projects
  • Maintaining departmental databases, including Salesforce
  • Liaising with external parties and answering telephones in a courteous and efficient manner taking accurate messages
  • Managing incoming and outgoing email and mail
  • Completing expense claims in a timely manner
  • Photocopying / printing / binding / scanning as required
  • Providing back-up and holiday cover for other team members
  • Performing any ad hoc tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time by the Line Manager, other Team members or the wider Company as dictated by business needs

The Successful Assistant candidate will:


  • Have strong Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Powerpoint, alongside some knowledge of Excel
  • Have prior experience providing administrative support to senior executives and a broader team
  • Have excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Be efficient and be able to prioritise effectively
  • Take responsibility for tasks to completion
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


  • Be fluent in French
  • Have prior professional experiences within financial services
  • Have knowledge of Salesforce
