The Client:

A longstanding client of VWA is looking for a new Office Manager to work in their Tactical Opportunities and Private Equity division on a part-time basis. This newly created opportunity is ideal for a highly capable candidate looking for their next challenge in a global and high-growth firm.

The role will be 32 hours per week, 9am-6pm, 4 days per week. 20 of these hours must be based in the Mayfair office.

The Office Manager Role:

Working within the Tactical Opportunities and Private Equity division, this will be a fast-paced and varied role. Day to day responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Ensuring expense reports are complying with firm, group and fund policy as per respective documents
  • Ongoing liaison with Legal, Compliance, Finance and GCS to make sure policies are clear and adhered to
  • Reviewing reports and invoices to ensure they are in compliance with firm standards
  • Expense management
  • Oversight of all Admins, including interview screening and resource allocation
  • Coordinating new hire locations and general moves
  • Training of new administrative assistants on systems
  • Keeping up to date training materials available for all administrative assistants
  • Ongoing liaison with internal departments
  • Other ad hoc projects when required

The Successful Office Manager candidate will:

  • Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in the office
  • Have prior Office Management experience within a similar professional setting
  • Thrive in a high pressured and fast-paced environment
  • Be adaptable with the ability to prioritise efficiently and effectively
  • Be professional and personable
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication
