The Client:
A innovative and specialist fintech investment firm are looking for an Office Manager to join the friendly and collaborative team. It's a great, people-focused team where their staff are treated incredibly well and internal growth is encouraged.

The Role:

Office Manager duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Management and maintenance of office facilities with external suppliers
  • Manage the cleaning routines in both offices
  • Manage the daily set up of the Old Street office and be responsible for creating a friendly and professional environment
  • Assist with office moves and upgrades as and when necessary
  • Welcome guests and deal with enquiries
  • Manage the meeting room booking system and ensure the smooth running of all meeting with clients
  • Collect and distribute incoming post and arrange outgoing post
  • Manage the order system and coordinate deliveries for team lunches
  • 1-2 time visits a fortnight to the other offices in Canary Wharf
  • Organising community-style events for employees
  • Be a point of contact for employees to raise any issues and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Work with the operations manager to maintain the health and safety of the office

The Successful Office Manager will:

  • Be available ASAP
  • Be highly organised
  • Have prior office management/coordination experience
  • Be approachable and professional
  • Be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to adapt their communication style to different situations
  • Be enthusiastic and proactive

The Details and Benefits:

  • Salary of £45-55K, dependent on experience

  • This role is office-based, although there is a possibility of some flexibility down the line
