The Client:

A unique Private Equity firm who focuses on sustainable investing are looking for an Office Manager to join the friendly and collaborative team.

The Role:

As Office Manager you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:

  • Management and maintenance of office facilities with external suppliers
  • First point of contact for all practical aspects related to the day to day running of the office
  • Represent and instil the culture of the Firm in all practices and interaction both internally and externally
  • Building Management liaison
  • Travel provider management
  • Manage the in-house Wellness Programme
  • Coordination and oversight of in-house and external events
  • Uphold, manage and report on office sustainability policies including lighting, energy usage, carbon compensation and data capture
  • Oversee reception services to ensure that meeting rooms are maintained to a good standard and booking systems efficiently implemented
  • Be a point of contact for employees to raise any issues and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Maintain the health and safety of the office

The Successful Office Manager will:

  • Be highly organised
  • Have prior office management experience within finance or professional services sectors
  • A highly service orientated approach
  • Be approachable and professional and excellent relationship building skills
  • Demonstrates a good use of initiative, combined with a problem-solving attitude
  • Be able to hit the ground running and work under pressure
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to adapt their communication style to different situations
  • Be enthusiastic and proactive
  • An understanding of sustainability, particularly as it relates to the office and building environment itself
