The Client:

A globally established venture capital firm are looking for an Office Manager with excellent customer service skills to join the team and serve as the first point of contact for the fast-paced London office.

The Role:
Office Manager duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the London office
  • Liaising with property management on building related issues and third-party vendors
  • Manage emergency plans for the office and respond to emergency situations as they arise
  • Order, receive, organise and maintain stock supplies for the office
  • Ensuring COVID-19 safety protocol is met
  • Providing excellent service, hospitality and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee and monitor workplace projects
  • Proactively identifying business needs and circulating feedback from business leaders, stakeholders and the team that encourage business improvement
  • Work collaboratively with senior management to improve office operations
  • Cultivate and encourage a team culture in-line with company values of respect, empathy and inclusion
  • Event coordination
  • Cover reception when needed

The Successful Office Manager will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years office management experience
  • Be happy to work in the office 5 days a week
  • Have experience managing and motivating a team is desirable
  • Be able to prioritise many duties proactively and remain highly organised
  • Have professional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with with clients, staff, and stakeholders
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines with little direction
  • Be innovative and suggest ways to improve current processes and systems to optimize employee satisfaction
  • Be happy to muck in to achieve company goals
  • Have strong MS Office/Google Suite experience
