The Client:

An established boutique investment management firm are looking for an Office and Facilities manager to join the team from March.

The Role:

Office and Facilities Manager duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of administration including management of the receptionists, housekeepers, EAs and Team Assistants to ensure that all duties are performed in a seamless and efficient manner
  • Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the premises
  • Maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment
  • Making recommendations to improve administrative systems and streamline processes
  • Leading and developing direct reports
  • Organising internal social events and managing in-house exercise classes
  • Overseeing all supplier and service provider relationships
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies as they arise
  • Managing business rates, service charge accounts and lease negotiations
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government, environmental and health and safety regulations
  • Responsible for capturing all corporate carbon emissions and make recommendations to increase energy efficiency

The Successful Office and Facilities Manager will:

  • Be personable, approachable, and professional
  • Have previous experience as an Office Manager
  • Ideally have experience within the Financial Services
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Have experience managing a team successfully
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be honest and reliable
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills

The Details and Benefits:

  • March start date
  • Standard hours are 9am - 6pm
  • Salary is £50-70K, depending on experience
