Office / Workplace and Facilities Manager

Up to £80K

King's Cross

Fully office-based

The Client:

A leading finance firm in the buzzy tech hub of King's Cross with beautiful offices and around 150 employees. The business embraces cutting-edge technology and has a team-oriented atmosphere while really looking after their staff and offering excellent employee benefits!

The Office Manager Role:

This is a varied and exciting Office / Workplace and Facilities Manager which will involve running and managing the London offices. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Facilities management, including liaising with contractors, vendors and building management team
  • Office management - being the go-to person for all things office-related
  • Line management of front of house team, including temps
  • Responsibility for office health and safety including risk assessments
  • Managing office management budget
  • General administration including organising clinics (eg flu jabs)
  • Liaising with global offices
  • Ad-hoc project support with the COO.

Candidate Specification:

  • Muck-in, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong previous experience in managing a professional office environment
  • Previous experience in managing members of staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications highly advantageous but not essential
  • IT literate, ideally with experience of project management and collaboration tools

Additional Information:

  • Salary £60-80K depending on experience
