£55k-£65k dependent on experience

The Client

An established, successful and growing private investment office that has an entrepreneurial and collegiate ethos.

The Role

The role sits with the Business Operations Team and reports into the Head of People. It is a varied position that requires a hands on and organised approach that encompasses day to day office management.

3 Core Areas of responsibility:

Office Management:

  • Management and maintenance of office facilities with external suppliers
  • First point of contact for all practical aspects related to the day to day running of the office
  • Represent and instil the culture of the Firm in all practices and interaction both internally and externally
  • Co-ordinating office moves and/or office re-organisation as well as desk allocation and updating of the desk booking system
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff. Holding regular one-on-one meetings with assigned team members as well as writing reviews for the team during the annual performance development process

Event Organising:

  • Acting as the lead co-ordinator for all office events as well as global events where applicable
  • Co- ordination of all office events including the year end Christmas party and the summer event

Other:

  • EA responsibilities supporting the Head of Business Development (approx. 15% - 20%)
  • Providing cover as required for the EA to the CEO
  • Managing all expenses
  • Working with HR and IT/Tech onboarding new joiners
  • Oversee and organise all travel and accommodation for employees
  • General office administration

Candidate Specification:

  • Hold extensive office management experience preferably for a similar or larger sized firm, and have practical hands on experience of running an office of this size
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication
  • Strong teamwork skills and a muck-in attitude
  • Good qualifications, degree not necessary, but a good level of written English is required
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent organizational skills

Additional information:

  • Salary is competitive and paying £55k-£65k dependent on experience and comes with a discretionary bonus
  • Excellent benefits, including 25 days holiday, pension scheme & STL
  • Fully office based
  • 40 hour week and for this role flexibility is needed to start earlier in the day e.g. 8am/8.30am
