The Client:

An excellent opportunity to join an established and growing recruitment firm specialising in the life sciences industry. With an international presence, this is a great time to join the firm as a Learning and Development Associate.

The Learning and Development Associate role:

This Learning and Development Associate role will be working within a small L&D team in delivering an onboarding programme to new starters in their first year of working as Consultants for the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who's worked in recruitment, carrying out business development, and who now wants to pivot into a L&D role within a highly successful firm.

Responsibilities involve but are not limited to:

  • Taking ownership of the onboarding process for new starters
  • Delivering academy training sessions to small groups
  • Monitoring progress and providing coaching to employees on an ongoing basis
  • Course design, development and evaluation, when required
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting as part of the firm's performance management process

The successful Learning and Development Associate will:

  • Have at least 2 years' experience working in recruitment and business development
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Have the ability to take full ownership of tasks and projects
  • Be passionate about recruitment and maximising employee performance
  • Have a process and value-driven approach to their work
