St. Pauls

The Client:
A national transport organization based near St. Pauls are looking for someone with L&D experience to join the team for 6-months (with the possibility of extension). This is a brand new role to assist with the implementation of digitalized and parallel learning and development programs.

The Role:
L&D duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and implementation of projects
  • Development of training syllabus and development of the Driver training syllabus into the digital product
  • Be a critical resource in developing the requirements for the procurement of the digital solution

The Successful L&D specialist will:

  • Hold a recognised third level qualification in Learning and Development/HR or related discipline
  • Have a strong desire to drive, implement and lead the transition from standardised learning material into engaging digital material that can be used in self-paced learning
  • Have an analytical mind and have demonstratable experience identifying process improving ideas and planning and implementing solutions
  • Have 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar learning/training and development role
  • Have experience planning and managing and evaluating staff learning/training and development in a previous role
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Have an understanding of competence management processes
  • Ideally have previous L&D experience within the educational sector
  • Be good at managing peoples own learning
  • Be able to adapt quickly
  • Be innovative
  • Have experience in digitalisation
  • Be personable and have excellent communication skills
  • Have a muck in attitude in order to implement changes
  • Have previous experience using applications and HR/learning information systems along with experience working with learning management systems and LXPs at both the front end user interface and back office at system administrator level"
  • Have experience in transforming linear training programmes to parallel, layered modular training linked to competency management systems
  • Have experience in eLearning design and development and with delivering innovative blended learning solutions
