About the Client:
VWA is working for a highly entrepreneurial insurance business with international reach; based in the heart of the City, the company has around 150 employees globally and will continue to grow in the next year.
Kindly note, applicants must be available to start early August 2023 and commit to a contract length of at least 9 months with the potential for extension.
About the Interim HR Director role:
As Interim HR Director, you will be leading a small HR team which operates in a collaborative and cohesive manner. Reporting directly to the CEO, key accountabilities of the role will cover:
- Developing the People Strategy
- Ensuring that the company culture is understood across the company
- Developing the Diversity & Inclusion agenda
- Talent Management
- Remuneration and benchmarking
- Budgeting
- Driving the delivery of key deliverables
- People management
Experience and Competencies Require:
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
- Prior experience at Business Partner, HR Manager or Director level
- Insurance or financial services industry experience with an understanding of regulated environments
- Enjoys working in a boutique, evolving and growing company
- Experience working with global office locations
- Employment law knowledge
- Highly flexible, adaptable to changing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Additional Details:
- Office-based 3 days per week
- Core hours 9-5 with flexibility to work beyond as necessary
