Executive Assistant / Office Manager

Up to £70K

West End

Fully office-based

The Client:

A boutique growth equity firm based in the heart of the West End with an entrepreneurial ethos.

The Role:

This position will involve providing support to 2 Partners as well as office management for the London office. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Regular (and often last-minute) diary management, including lunches and dinners as well as meetings
  • Frequent international travel arrangements, largely European
  • Liaising with building manager and ensuring general upkeep of the office, including keeping kitchen well-stocked
  • Organizing events
  • HR Management
  • Processing invoices
  • Occasional administrative support to the wider team
  • Ad-hoc administration.

While this position can be very busy, with one of the Partners travelling frequently with a very busy diary, around 30% of the time this role will be relatively quiet - meaning someone who can be proactive and is happy working with both peaks and troughs is essential. There is however flexibility to leave the office earlier on quieter days, while keeping an eye on emails for any urgent requests.

Candidate Specification:

  • Strong EA experience supporting at C-Suite or Partner level, ideally within private equity, venture capital or boutique financial services
  • A muck-in attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively

Additional Information:

  • Salary is up to £70K depending on experience
  • Benefits - discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, statutory pension. Please note that this role does not currently include medical benefits but does have a competitive salary package and soft benefits including a well-stocked kitchen and social events.
  • Hours are 8:30am - 5pm with flexibility to leave earlier on quieter days
  • Role is fully office-based.
