Salary c. £55k, dependent on experience


The Client:

VWA is supporting one of the leading global investment firms in private equity with their search for a new Executive Assistant in the Investor Relations team.

The Executive Assistant role:

Sitting within the Investor Relations team of 15 people, the successful candidate will be supporting up to Managing Partner level and support to one other. Day to day responsibilities involve but are not limited to:

  • Diary and inbox management
  • Booking and managing complex international travel
  • Ongoing liaison with investors and external parties
  • Performing background research on investors/projects
  • Anticipating the needs of the Partners and team to ensure efficient time management
  • Maintaining departmental databases including Salesforce
  • Providing back-up and holiday cover for other team members when needed
  • General ad hoc tasks when required

The successful Executive Assistant candidate will:


  • Have prior experience providing EA support to senior executives and a wider team
  • Have clear financial services experience ideally within IR/marketing/business development
  • Be proactive with excellent organisational skills
  • Have a strong work ethic with a high attention to detail
  • Be efficient with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have a minimum of 50wpm typing
  • Have strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Have knowledge of Salesforce (or alternative CRM)
