Elena Trump

Elena joined VWA straight out of university and says she always had her eye on London for her first graduate role. In joining the VWA team she has been able to help others find their path in their professional lives, and develop her own.

Elena joined the team in October 2021 as a Trainee Consultant, shortly after obtaining her BSc in Psychology from The University of Exeter. Elena now works as a Consultant on the Temporary & Contract Division, responsible for taking briefs for roles from her clients, short-listing profiles, coordinating the interview process and then maintaining communication with both candidates and clients post-booking to ensure both parties are happy. Elena also supports the team with general candidate resourcing and business development which involves reaching out to new clients to expand her client pool.

“I really enjoy getting to talk to so many different people and understand what they are looking for and what would work with their skills, life, and preferences. It is so satisfying building relationships with candidates & clients and being able to assist them find what they are looking for. I studied psychology at uni as I wanted to be able to help people in my day-to-day, whilst I am not doing this in the capacity I initially imagined when enrolling on the course, it is definitely something that attracted me to recruitment. Additionally, being based on the Temp Team the role can be incredibly fast-paced which definitely keeps things interesting.”

Outside of work, Elena has developed a love for running, especially since moving to London and discovering routes along the river. She also enjoys exploring London with friends at the weekend, as the bucket list of places to try is endless.
