Today the enduring values with which Victoria Wall Associates were built, working as a team and consulting in an honest and transparent manner, remain integral to everything we do. In addition, in January 2011 we have initiated this new and progressive CSR policy that demonstrates our responsibility to provide opportunity for people, a subject so integral to all our jobs.
VWA 2011 CSR model

The 2011 policy is to donate 5% of our post tax profits towards helping underprivileged students and children achieve educational or extra curricular opportunities which they would not otherwise be exposed to. Initially this will be both in the UK through- Project Rough Seas and in Africa with Kusasa and Shine.
Project Rough Seas
The project involves training and mentoring sixty young disadvantaged Care Leavers and NEET'S (Not in Education, Employment or Training) over 3 months from May this year. We will donate financial support for this project. Those involved will experience a survival week at Loch Tay, and a Tall Ship sailing expedition in Scandinavia. Through sponsoring one of the participants VWA will be mentoring and supporting our young adventurer not only in the training and expedition phases but also post expedition where VWA will offer a work placement.
Kusasa and Shine
VWA has strong links with a number of charities in Africa and in particular our focus this year will be on 2 charities called Kusasa, of which Victoria Wall herself is a trustee, and Shine Centre. Both charities provide resources for educational and learning development for under privileged children and more Information can be found on their respective websites.
Our consultants
In addition to the 2011 CSR policy many of the consultants are individually active raising funds for their own personal and select charities. Philippa will organise another Carol Service at the Guards Chapel to follow up to the huge success of the inaugural event last December with all proceeds going to Veterans Aid. Shay is still an integral member of the Vimba board. A Zimbabwe based charity dedicated to enriching poverty stricken children’s lives.
This Code of Business Ethics sets out the standards we expect from our employees in their internal and external dealings with colleagues, clients, and third parties.
Since 1989 our client base has been situated in London. As a boutique consultancy with a local client and candidate we naturally have a sustainable business model. Subsequently we mitigate the major environmental issues that are so strongly associated with international companies.
As a team, using London’s Public Transport, cycling to work and continuing to service our local client base remain integral to our environmental aims for 2011.
