Simon Crow, Managing Director

Simon is Victoria Wall’s brother and runs both VWA Ltd and VWA Singapore.

Prior to his current career in selection, Simon spent nine years working in the City. He specialised in sales and trading with high-yield fixed income products for financial institutions, including Morgan Grenfell, Salomon Brothers and JP Morgan Chase.

Since 2002, Simon has been an active consultant on the VWA temp desk, where he fills assignments across a broad spectrum of industry sectors and disciplines, including HR and banking positions, graduates and the full range of support roles.

As managing director, Simon is responsible for maintaining VWA’s reputation in the markets, and for evolving and growing the business both in the UK and abroad. He believes passionately that people are the most important asset in the service sector and is committed to providing our consultants with a happy and harmonious atmosphere at work.

In 2008, Simon set up Associate Search, which specialises in seeking out analysts and associates for private equity and hedge funds, leveraging his banking background. In 2011, he established VWA Singapore, taking the VWA search formula East. VWA Singapore is a search firm working in close partnership with VWA Ltd, helping Singapore-based companies find outstanding talent.

A graduate in economics, Simon is Saville & Holdsworth trained in competency-based interview and appraisal techniques.

Simon is a sport enthusiast and can regularly be seen out on the rugby field.
