Jill Newey, Head of Finance

Jill is VWA’s Finance Director, and has spent the past 20 years ensuring that the group has maintained a steady course through the good and bad times. Originally from Leeds, Jill moved to London to continue her studies and develop specialities in accounting and financial administration for small and medium-sized businesses. VWA is a big part of Jill’s life and what has kept her with us is the people and the challenges of keeping a firm hand on an ever-evolving company.

Jill is married and has had two children who have now flown the nest. She enjoys music, especially jazz (a passion she shares with her husband, who publishes a magazine for jazz aficionados), soul and ’60s psychedelia. She also enjoys travelling, food (as long as she doesn’t have to cook it) and long lazy days on the beach with a good book.
